Start working in desired main color.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in a MR (6)
Rnd 2: (inc) x 6 (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Rnd 4: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) x 5, 1 sc (24)
Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
Rnd 6: 2 sc, inc, (4 sc, inc) x 5, 2 sc (36)
Rnd 7: 1 sc in each stitch around (36)
Rnd 8: work in FLO, 1 sc in each stitch around, after this make 1 sl st (this will be the new start of the rounds) (36)
The next round is a bit special, but it’s basically just like a normal round expect for where you insert your hook. Turn the work, but absolutely DO NOT do any chain stitches. Make sure you have the wrong side facing you.

Start working in desired main color.
Rnd 9: work around the previous round, 1 sc in each stitch (36)
Fasten off and secure the ends.
Change color to desired filling.
Turn the work over again so that you have it facing the right way. Attach the new thread to the last stitch of the BLO we left from round 8 and then continue like this:

With the help of the piece of yarn that we saved, sew the two halves together through all 4 loops (2 from each macaron half), stuff the macaron firmly and then fasten off and weave in the ends.
