Start in green color.

Rnd 1: 8 sc in Mr (8)
Rnd 2: 8 inc (16)

Rnd 4-5: sc all around (2 rounds) (24)

Change color to white.

Rnd 6: sc all around (24)

Change color to brown.

Rnd 7: sc all around (24)
Rnd 8: 6 sc, [create a wing: 4 hdc in FLO of next st (mark the back loop with a stitch marker)] 11 sc. repeat […], 5 sc (24)

Insert safety eyes between R4 and R5 (6 sts apart), embroider beak in yellow in between R4 and R as well (make two lines with the yarn)
