Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 8 (32)
Rnd 5: 32 sc (32)
Rnd 6: (3 sc, inc) x 8 (40)
Rnd 7: (4 sc, inc) x 8 (48)
Rnd 8-11: 48 sc (48)
Rnd 12-14: 6 sc, 12 hdc, 12 sc, 12 hdc, 6 sc (48)
Rnd 15: 48 sc (48)
Rnd 16: 5 sc, dec, (10 sc, dec) x 3, 5 sc (44)
Rnd 17-21: 44 sc (44)

Cut yarn.

Insert the hook into the 13th and 14th stitches of rnd 21 (close rnd 21 with sc).

Stuff the body before closing it all the stitches of rnd 21.

Wing x2

(Red yarn, 2.3 mm hook)

Make the wing in two part, <A> and <B>.

<A>

Rnd 1: 6 sc in to Mr (6)
Rnd 2: (2 sc, inc) x 2 (8)
Rnd 3: 8 sc (8)

Cut the yarn. Next make <B>

<B>

Rnd 1-3: as same as <A>, but don’t cut the yarn.
Rnd 4: make a sc 8th stitch of rnd 3 of the <A>, 15 sc (7 sc on the <A>, 8 sc on the <B>) (16)
Rnd 5-6: 16 sc (16)
Rnd 7: 3 sc, dec, 6 sc, dec, 3 sc (14)
Rnd 8: dec x 7 (7)

Cut the yarn, fasten off.

Leave a long tail for sewing to the body. Don’t stuff the wings.

Tail

(Red yarn, 2.3 mm hook)

Make the tail in three part, <A>, <B> and <C>.

<A>

Rnd 1: 4 sc in to Mr (4)
Rnd 2: inc, 3 sc (5)
Rnd 3-7: 5 sc (5)

Cut the yarn. Next, make <B>

<B>

Crochet as same as rnd 1-5 of <A>
Cut the yarn. Next, make <C>

<C>

Crochet as same as rnd 1-4 of <A>, but don’t cut the yarn. Connect <A>, <B> and <C> with sc.

Rnd 5: make a sc 5th st of rnd 5 of <B>, 2 sc on the <B>, sc on the 5th st of rnd 7 of <A>, 4 sc on the <A>, 2 sc on the <B> (two sts of rnd 5 that has not been crocheted yet)
5 sc on the rnd 4 of <C> (15)
Rnd 6: 15 sc (15)
Rnd 7: (sc, dec) x 5 (10)

Cut the yarn, leave a long tail for sewing to the body. Don’t stuff the tail.

Comb

(Red yarn, 2.3 mm hook)

Make the comb in two parts, <A> and <B>.

<A>

Rnd 1: 8 sc in to Mr (8)
Rnd 2: (3 sc, inc) x 2 (10)
Rnd 3-4: 10 sc (10)

Cut the yarn. Next make <B>.

<B>

Rnd 1: 6 sc in to Mr (6)
Rnd 2: (2 sc, inc) x 2 (8)

Rnd 4: make a sc 10th st of rnd 4 of the <A>, 17 sc (9 sc on the <A>, 8 sc on the <B>) (18)

Cut the yarn.

Leave a long tail for sewing on rnd 21 of the body.

Don’t stuff the comb.

Beak

(Yellow yarn, 2.3 mm hook)

Rnd 1: 6 sc in to Mr (6)
Rnd 2: 6 sc (16)

Cut the yarn, fasten off.

Leave a tail for sewing to the body.

Don’t stuff the beak.
