Materials
- Yarn (cotton + acrylic): orange, brown, black
- 2 mm crochet hook
- Stuffing
- Needle
Abbreviations
Mr – magic ring
Sc – single crochet
Inc – increase
Ch – chain
Sl st – slip stitch
BLO – back loop only
FLO – front loop only
Pumpkin
Orange yarn.
Make a chain of 35 chain stitches. Start in 2nd loop from hook back-and-forth rows. Each row start in 2nd loop from the hook and ends with chain stitch. This chain stitch doesn’t count.
Row 1: 1 sl st, 32 sc, 1 sl st
All next rows work in back loops only.
Row 2-71: 1 sl st, 32 sc, 1 sl st (70 rows)
Cut the yarn, leave a long tail for sewing.

Fold the first and last row together. Sew together at the back half loops. Don’t cut the yarn.

To proceed, keep working along the rows and insert the needle with the orange yarn through all of the chain stitches at the end of each row.

Pull the end of the thread and pull the hole.
Sew the hole. To stuff. Take a long orange yarn and fasten it near the other hole. Close the second hole in the same way. Don’t cut the yarn end.

Take a long needle and the end of orange yarn. Insert the needle into the center of the pumpkin and pull the yarn, tightening the center.

Repeat several times. Fasten the yarn and cut off the end.

Tail
Orange yarn.
Make a chain of 27 chain stitches. Start in 2nd loop from hook. Back-and-forth rows. Each row starts in 2nd loop from the hook and ends with chain stitch. This chain stitch doesn’t count.
Row 1: 24 sc, 2 sl st
All next rows work in back loops only.
Row 2: 2 sl st, 24 sc
Row 3: 24 sc, 2 sl st
Row 4-17: repeat row 2 and row 3, 7 more times. Don’t crochet 1 ch in the end of 17 the row. Don’t cut yarn.
Close the hole in the same way as in the pumpkin.
To stuff. Take a long orange yarn and fasten in near the other hole. Fold in half. Sew together grabbing both parts.

Cut the yarn, leave end for sewing.

Assembly
- Sew the peduncle in the center.
- Sew the ears on the sides.
- Sew the tail on the side.
- Sew the eyes in the center.
- Use black yarn to embroider the nose between the eyes.
