Materials
- 3 mm crochet hook
- Ricorumi yarn (Lilac 017 and Pink 011)
- IX button (15 mm)
- Keychain (optional)
- Darning needle
- Scissors
Abbreviations
Rnd – rounds
Ch – chain
Sc – single crochet
Dc – double crochet
Sl st – slip stitch
Tog – together in one stitch (crocheting more that one stitch into the same space)
BLO -back loop only
Notes
- When starting rounds 2-8 start your first stitch into the same stitch as your starting chain.
- Make sure you count your stitches after each row as it is easy to add an extra stitch by mistake in this pattern.
Card Holder
Rnd 1: ch 22 then in 3rd ch from your hook (3 sc tog) then 18 sc along the ch then in the last ch (3 sc tog)
Now 18 sc along the other side of the ch.
Sl st into the top of the first stitch of this round (42)

Rnd 2: ch 2 BLO dc all round sl st into the top of the first stitch of this round (42)

Rnd 3-8: dc all round sl st into the top of the first stitch of each round (42)
Fasten off after round 8.

Rnd 9: add your new color into 16 stitches back from where you have just done your sl st and sc in the next 8 stitches ch 23 and then sc into the next 31 stitches

Now leaving a relly long bit of yarn enough to finish round cut and add the keychain.

Optional
If not adding keychain then continue single crocheting the end of the round.
Once the keychain is added sc into the last two stitches and sl st into the top of the first stitch of the round, fasten off and weave in all loose ends.
