- 4 mm crochet hook
- Chunky yarn you like
- 12 mm safety eyes
Abbreviations
Mr – magic ring
Sc – single crochet
Inc – increase
Dec – decrease
Ch – chain
Star x2
Rnd 1: 5 sc in magic ring (5)
Rnd 2: (1 inc) x 5 (10)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 5 (15)
You’ll now start to make the points of the star.
Rnd 4: 3 sc, 1 ch, turn (3)
Rnd 5: dec, 1 sc, 1 ch, turn (2)
Rnd 6: 2 sc, 1 ch, turn (2)
Rnd 7: dec, 1 ch, turn (1)
Sc down the side of the point of your star until you reach row 3 (the centre circle). Repeat steps 4-8 until your start has 5 points.
