Well, well, well, guess what I stumbled upon in the vast sea of the internet today? A crochet pattern that’s as delightful as a basket of puppies – a Heart Butterfly, no less! Its plush wings, shaped like hearts, are the stuff of crafting dreams. It’s like the universe decided to mash together symbols of love and transformation, then whispered, “Make this, why don’t ya?”
This pattern… Oh boy, it’s a concoction of coziness and charm, utilizing stitches that wrap around your hook like a warm hug. The red yarn recommended – resembling the fiery hue of passion and vitality – breathes life into the creation. Imagine that, a plush butterfly that’s not just a visual delight but a tactile one too. As I delved deeper into the pattern, memories of my first crochet project danced in my mind.
Now, I won’t fib; this isn’t your run-of-the-mill, quick-fix project. It’s a journey through loops and knots that might test your patience. But, as I’ve always said, the beauty of crocheting lies not just in the final piece but in the stitches along the way.
Each segment of the heart wings challenges you to pour a little more love, a tad more dedication. And when it’s done? You’ve not just got a butterfly but a symphony of craftsmanship and affection. So, to those willing to embark on this adventure – tight stitches and happy thoughts!

Then on the eye your darning needle is still attached to, insert the needle into the bottom inner corner of the eye.
Push the needle to the back of the head and pull through. Repeat steps 4-5 for the other eye.
Once both yarn ends are pushed to the back, pull to bring the eyes together. Then tie the yarn ends together to secure it. Weave in ends.
